Steering knob

A steering wheel knob with remote control has been designed for disabled drivers. It controls the horn, blinkers, far and short lights and the wipers. Several usability tests have been conducted to come up with the most ergonomic handle form and button placement to satisfy a wide variety of people with different hand and finger sizes. With different configurations it is the market leader since 2006 and sold more than 5000 times in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It can be installed directly to Volkswagen and Audi brand cars in German factories upon order.
